This flower was blooming in the garden on the day my oldest daughter was married, so it holds a special place in my heart. Daylilies only bloom for a day, so they serve as a reminder to seize the moment. We should celebrate those moments of beauty and joy we come across regardless of how brief they may be. But this one, of course, will bloom for a very long time!
 
This original one of a kind pastel painting ships mounted on foamcore and wrapped in tracing paper to protect the pastel drawing. It arrives with a pre-cut white mat and self-adhesive spacers to mount on the back of the mat to keep it raised slightly from the painting surface itself, one technique recommended when framing a pastel (instructions are included). The matted painting will fit in a standard 16" x 20" frame to make it easy to frame. (Frame is not provided.)
