Our garden had a lot of sunflowers this year and they really pulled me toward them when I went outside. As I got close to this one, I noticed a bee that had also been drawn in close. Sunflowers just might be one of the happiest looking flowers in the garden.
 
This original one-of-a-kind pastel painting ships mounted on Foamcore and wrapped in tracing paper to protect the pastel drawing. It arrives with a pre-cut white mat and self-adhesive spacers to mount on the back of the mat to keep it raised slightly from the painting surface itself, one technique recommended when framing a pastel (instructions are included). The matted painting will fit in a standard 16" x 20" frame to make it easy to frame. (Frame is not provided.)

The Peace Rose has always been one of my favorite roses. I love the variations in color as the bud opens  from pinks on the outside to the yellows and creams inside as the the buds open. I like to meditate on peace as I enter the image and get lost in its many layers.
