I have always loved the intense red and the contrasting black in the petals of red poppies. It’s the kind of dynamic flower you can easily lose yourself in.
 
This original one of a kind pastel painting ships mounted on foamcore and wrapped in tracing paper to protect the pastel drawing. It arrives with a pre-cut white mat and self-adhesive spacers to mount on the back of the mat to keep it raised slightly from the painting surface itself, one technique recommended when framing a pastel (instructions are included). The matted painting will fit in a standard 20" x 16" frame to make it easy to frame. (Frame is not provided.)
